Jasmine Harman VLA ‘Friend & Advocate’

We’re delighted to announce that TV presenter Jasmine Harman has offered her support to the VEGAN lifestyle ASSOCIATION.

A lovely interview with Jasmine is featured in our latest edition of #VEGAN24 magazine [out Friday 1st May] in which she chats to us about her journey to veganism, what the ‘wake-up call’ was for her and about her vegan family lifestyle.

You can read the inteview in the magazine here.

Jasmine said of the VLA:

“I think it’s a brilliant idea, the more people that can be on board and make an informed choice, the better.
There is just not enough information out there for people at the moment, it’s all completely skewed towards the consumption of animal products. People think ‘free range’ is harmless – they don’t know. It can only be a good thing to have more awareness.
I hope the VLA will help to get that information out there to help people make informed choices. Once that information is in someone’s hands they would realise it’s a no brainer – you feel healthier, your conscience is clear, your carbon footprint is smaller and you’re not sacrificing anything. You can have products which are just as good (if not better) than non-vegan products but without any negative impact.”

39-year-old Jasmine Harman is a British TV presenter, best known for presenting the Channel 4 series, ‘A Place in the Sun: Home or Away?’ Most recently, Jasmine fronted series two of ‘Collectaholics’ on BBC2.
