I’ve tried many vegan French Toast recipes over the years and have gradually adapted my go-to recipe. One thing I love about vegan cooking is that without heavy eggs and butter, flavours can shine and this French Toast has a sweet flavour of vanilla and cinnamon which contrasts well with a sharp compote.
If you enjoy porridge then this is a lovely super-easy alternative, and one you can eat cold.
Warmly spiced like your favourite cookies these pancakes are delicious!Any leftover pancakes can be stored in the fridge for up to three days. They make a great after-school or post-exercise snack! Gently heat through on the hob or in the microwave before serving.
