Vegan food and cooking on a TV channel at last?
We had a response from The Good Food Channel to say they have some vegan themed cooking coming up soon! About time (we politely told them). So watch this space – or indeed their channel listings and we’ll try and let you know when!
Vegan products got funding on the infamous Dragon’s Den!
Our friend Linus of The Raw Chocolate Co got a range of £££ offers and opted to work with Deborah Meaden. We’re excited to see how this develops and fully expect raw chocolate mulberries to take over the world!

PETA named their UK’s sexiest vegan in their annual contest:
Whatever your thoughts on this, their media team did a great job in getting coverage in all of the respective local papers of the contenders for the title. As a result each person was also given a great platform to talk very openly about why they are vegan – all of them including ethics and animals rights in their decisions, which is interesting for the general public to see.

ABROAD:
A victory for equality:
The small Spanish town of Trigueros del Valle have led the way in voting overwhelmingly to give human rights to cats and dogs. They have also banned bull fighting.
We hope this is just the beginning of a lot more recognition and equality. Read more here.
Veganism on the rise!
Yet another report showed that veganism is still dramatically on the rise in Israel. 5% of Israeli’s now identify as vegan and another 13% are considering the move to veggie or vegan.
