Scotland’s capital seems to be having a vegan revolution.
Not only did everyone’s favourite Fat Gay Vegan take his Vegan Roadshow there this July, but there is some very big news for a very vegan looking Scottish Summer…
The ever popular Henderson’s which opened its doors for happy vegetarians in the 60s is launching a new all vegan menu at its Thistle Street Bistro. The menu sounds just as delicious as its previous menu offerings with treats from raspberry and almond salad to lentil and apricot-stuffed chickpea omelettes. It’s open for business now after a shiny new refurbishment!

Also this Summer, Edinburgh is getting its very first vegan festival! After last year’s hugely successful Newcastle upon Tyne Festival, Vegan Festivals UK are bringing the party to the Scottish capital on the 8th August. Exhibitors will be offering a wide variety of vegan produce, including cakes and chocolate, hot takeaway food, make up, clothing, pet treats and cheese. There will be dozens of stalls, speakers and screenings and it will be a fantastic day out for everyone! Check out the website for details here or on .
Edinburgh, we can’t wait to see you there.
